Three Premier League clubs are chasing Manchester City winger Adam Johnson.

The Manchester Evening News says Liverpool, Everton and Sunderland are set to battle it out for Johnson.

All three clubs are prepared to offer the City winger a route out of the Etihad Stadium and the chance to play regular first-team football.

And that will play right into the hands of the Premier League champions, who could more than double the £7m they paid for him in 2010.
