Manchester City are interested in Schalke striker Breel Embolo.

The Daily Mail says City are tracking the Swiss prodigy.

The 20-year-old moved to Schalke from Basle in the summer of 2016 for a fee of £20million but suffered a serious injury following a nasty foul on October 2 of that year.

Embolo featured for five minutes at the end of Northern Ireland's play-off game against his nation, which they managed to draw 0-0 to reach the World Cup in Russia.

The youngster has admitted he rejected an offer from Manchester United as a teenager.
