Premiership clubs have been warned over the price of Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi.

The former Manchester United trainee has been linked with Manchester City.

But Federico Pastorello has warned that Villarreal will not sell on the cheap.

"Villarreal turned down 20million euros last summer," Pastorello said.

"His buy-out clause is of 40million. Therefore, his value is closer to the 40 mark than the 20 mark."
