Manchester City are ready to go to £52 million for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao. The People says City are confident of landing Atletico Madrid's Colombian striker now that Real Madrid have dropped out of the running.
Falcao, 27, is believed to have a 60m-euro get-out clause in his Atletico deal and, with Real refusing to meet that valuation, City believe they can beat off competition from Chelsea to land the hottest frontman in world football.
City striker Edin Dzeko could move in the opposite direction to Atletico.
