Manchester City are set to upgrade skipper Vincent Kompany's contract.
The Sun says Kompany will be rewarded with a five-year, £120,000-a-week deal after leading Manchester City to the brink of the title.
The Belgian centre-back and skipper has had an outstanding season, capped by the derby-winning goal that means City need to beat QPR today to win a first crown in 44 years.
