Man City turn to Borussia Dortmund striker Lewandowski

Manchester City are ready to pounce for Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski.

The Poland international has pulled out of new contract talks with BVB and with less than two years to run on his current deal is expected to be put up for sale from the New Year.

City boss Roberto Mancini is desperate for a new centre-forward signing and has Lewandowski on his shopping list.

Chelsea are also keen, though long-term suitors Manchester United have gone cold following the arrival of Robin van Persie.
