Manchester City have handed a trial to Swedish starlet Kristoffer Wiktorsson. Sven-Goran Eriksson brought in several experienced players over the summer but he is also planning for the long-term future.
And his scouts have been impressed by 18-year-old Wiktorsson, who currently plays for Swedish second division club Degersdorf.
The defensive midfielder has now been invited to train with the City squad for four days and is hoping to make an impression.
"It's exciting that a Premier League club has shown interest in Kristoffer," stated agent Martin Klette to Expressen.
"But we haven't got a contract proposal."
