Twenty-one-year-old striker, Gao Lin, will be joined at the Carrington Training Centre by 19-year-old goalkeeper, Wang Da Lei and 22-year-old midfielder, Mao Jianqing.
Shenhua head coach, Wu Jinqui, told City's website of the trio: "All three players are young, fresh and talented.
"They have a great attitude to their football and are being given a wonderful opportunity to impress at Manchester City."
Blues boss Sven-Goran Eriksson added: "Shenhua's coach has told me good things about these young men and I look forward to seeing them at Carrington.
"They will train with all the senior players and it will be a good test of their abilities."
Shenhua have agreed a partnership deal with City this week.
