The Daily Star says City are planning for the future by tracking Spanish prospect Ignacio Maganto Perez, 19.
The Getafe whizzkid has already trained with Robert Mancini's "elite" squad of hot prospects.
City have been active in the Spanish youth market this month and also have tracked several starlets from Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
