Manchester City are interested in Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Mangala's agent, Fabrizio Ferrari, revealed last week that Manchester United had been watching the France U21 international.
However, Italian sources say City are now competing with AC Milan for the talented defender.
Porto rate Mangala, 22, at €20 million.
