Manchester City are chasing Leeds United fullback Sam Byram.

The Sunday Mirror says Byram is being lined up for an £8million summer switch from Leeds to ­Manchester City.

Etihad boss Roberto ­Mancini is revamping his squad at the end of the ­season and sees right-back Byram as being a key part of his future plans.

Mancini was impressed with Byram's performance in Leeds' 4-1 FA Cup fifth round defeat at City last month, and has been ­monitoring the ­teenager's form constantly since.
