Man City told they must wait for Real Madrid keeper Casillas

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini must wait until the summer if he is to bring Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas to England.

City owner Sheikh Mansour has spoken to Real Madrid president Florentino Perez about Casillas' situation in the last week.

Manuel Pellegrini, City's manager, wants a new keeper signing in January, but AS says Real would prefer to do business at the end of the season as losing Casillas during the winter market will force them to find cover for Diego Lopez.

Casillas has never hidden his admiration for the Premier League and at City he'd find good friends David Silva, Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo.
