According to a report published by the Mirror, Manchester City are set to offer Kevin de Bruyne a new contract following the explosive start to the season which has been made by the Belgian.
The agent of De Bruyne has confirmed that the player is in talks with the club over a new deal.
The 26-year-old is currently on a contract which sees him earn £110,000-a-week and his new deal will reportedly see him make £220,000-a-week.
De Bruyne's agent Patrick De Koster said: "In the coming months I'll meet with City to figure out how to improve and extend his contract.
"His salary? I cannot say. But if you think what Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are being paid, you can picture."
