Manchester City are to table a massive contract offer to Wolfsburg winger Kevin de Bruyne.
The Daily Star Sunday says City will this week offer De Bruyne a record six-year contract worth £53m.
It will be the longest deal they have ever put on the table – such is their determination to land the Wolfsburg and Belgium star.
City still have to agree a fee with Wolfsburg, who insist their prize asset is staying.
But they will offer £50m plus De Bruyne's £170,000-a-week wage.
