Manchester City are set to appoint former Everton midfielder Lee Carsley as their new Under-18s manager, according to reports from the Coventry Telegraph.

Following his retirement in 2011, Carsley moved into coaching with Coventry and has since honed his managerial craft with the likes of Sheffield United and Brentford.

Now according to reports, the 42-year-old is set to take over as manager of ity's Under-18's squad and will do so following his involvement as assistant manager to Aidy Boothroyd's England Under-19 side at upcoming the European Championship.
