According to Sky Sports Manchester City are in pole position for the signature of Arsenal star Samir Nasri. City are thought to be offering £20m for the Frenchman after initial reports Manchester United were favourites for the midfielders signature.
He has yet to put pen to paper on a new Gunners contract, with his current terms set to expire next year.
The Blues are also reportedly close to capturing Gunners left-back Gael Clichy, leaving boss Arsene Wenger without several of his key players next season.
