Manchester City enjoyed a 3-1 win over rivals Manchester United U21s yesterday.
Ashley Fletcher gave United a half-time lead but City fought back after the break to score three goals and gain a measure of retribution for their last meeting at Old Trafford barely two weeks ago.
On that occasion, the Reds took three invaluable points towards the title with a 4-0 win - Joyce's squad were then crowned champions last weekend after Chelsea, the only side who could have snatched the title, failed to win against West Ham United.
City acknowledged the Reds' achievement of winning the league by forming a 'Guard of Honour' as the visitors took the field ahead of the kick-off. City fans also generously applauded United.
