Manchester City are eyeing Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso.

The Argentina international spent last season on-loan at Roma and has expressed an ambition to sign permanently with the capital club.

However, itasportpress.it says City boss Roberto Mancini has made contact with Burdisso to register his interest.

The young stopper played his best football at Inter under Mancini and is keen to hear more from City before making a final decision.
