Manchester City are set to sign promising teenager Abdul Razak to a new contract.
The 18-year old Ivory Coast midfielder, currently on loan with Portsmouth, is close to signing a three-year deal as City look to tie him to the club.
Razak is highly rated by City boss Roberto Mancini who sees him as making an impact on the squad in the future.
"He's a talented footballer and a very good young man. I believe he has the ability to become a very important player for Manchester City, " said Mancini.
