Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari is mulling over Manchester City's offer.
The Independent says Scolari is weighing up the City manager's job but is unwilling to move his family away from Portugal, raising serious questions about his commitment to a club career in the Premier League.
Scolari has two sons, Fabricio and Leonardo, in further education in Portugal, one studying to be a lawyer, and though the Premier League is a consideration for him after the European Championships, sources in Portugal believe the proximity offered by a club in Spain's La Liga might be a preference to Thaksin Shinawatra's long-term City "project".
