Manchester City target Benjamin Mendy was forced off after 20 minutes in France's clash with England on Tuesday night.
The Monaco defender collided with who could be his future teammate in Raheem Sterling, which proved enough to send him to the sidelines.
City is expected to complete a £39.8m deal for the left-back in the next few days.
Mendy, 22, had an impressive campaign with Ligue 1 champions Monaco, making 39 appearances in all competitions for Leonardo Jardim's side.
The former Marseille defender is set to sign a four-year £100,000-per-week contract at City, with a player option for a fifth year included in the deal.
