Will Hughes has signed a one-year contract extension with Derby County which keeps him at the club until the end of the 2015-16 season.

The midfielder is a top target for Manchester City and Liverpool.

Boss Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Derby: "He's had a fantastic season and learnt so much over the last 12 months."
