Man City target Higuain pricing himself out of Real Madrid stay

Real Madrid face losing top scorer Gonzalo Higuain at the end of the season.

The Argentina international has seen new contract talks suspended until the end of the season, while GM Jorge Valdano insists they want him to stay.

However, Sport says Real insist they will not meet Higuain's demands of parity with Karim Benzema's €8.5 million-a-year wages.

Manchester City are ready to pounce for the prolific striker.

what his has shown to real madrid in the past 3 season is a good job.he helped the team win the last la liga under bernd shruster.but the problem is,his salary is so lowest than other.

DId arsenal win CL before , so wat is the point of saying arsenal beat RM lol, difference is Arsenal never won CL and RM won more times than anyone.... lol

A lot can be said about him being greedy. But he's not had an easy time of it while at Real Madrid. He's a quality player, but has been under-appreciated by the coaching staff, the board and the fans. Of course he's going to be greedy for goals, he wants to put himself in the shop window. He helped them win their last La Liga title, and has been among the lowest earners at the club since then.
