Samir Handanovic has hinted of frustration at Inter Milan. The goalkeeper was outstanding for Inter's 4-0 rout of Sampdoria, being named man-of-the-match despite the scoreline.
Handanovic has been linked with Manchester City in recent days and said at the final whistle yesterday: "A historic day for me? I do not have anything particular to say, I'll be happier when we fight for something more important.
"I'm glad it went well and we got the win, but not everything has been good."
City see Handanovic as a replacement for Joe Hart, who was again inconsistent in defeat at Liverpool on Sunday.
