Manchester City have failed with a bid for Fenerbahce superkid Oguz Kagan Guctekin.
The Sun says Arsenal and Tottenham have joined City in the race for Turkish whizkid Guctekin.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been promoted to the Fenerbahce first-team set up and sparked interest in the Premier League.
Aziz Yildirim, president for the Turkish giants, claims City have lodged a £4.5million offer to take him to the Etihad Stadium.
Yildirim said: “Manchester City have made a €5m (£4.5m) offer for him.
“We turned down the offer.
“We gave assurances that he will play this season, do not be surprised to see him in the starting XI as a number right."
