Ahead of the Champions League clash with Barcelona, defensive and goalkeeping situations remain the main worries for Manchester City.
Claudio Bravo, who joined City from Barcelona during summer, has been far from an assuring presence during his initial days with the club.
Former England goalkeeper David James feels that City's playing style doesn't suit their defence and goalkeeper at the moment, providing a few concerns ahead of the meeting with Barca at the Nou Camp.
“From what I've seen of the new objective to play out from the back, the transition with Bravo in it hasn't been the smoothest," he said in an interview with the Daily Express.
“My concerns are when you play a side like Barcelona, who when they have the ball they are dangerous, as obvious as that is, but this is a side who are more dangerous than anyone else.
“So if you're going to play a style which is not the smoothest at the moment then you are incurring that fear that you're going to give them possession back.
“It's not the goalkeeper that's the issue here in my opinion, but one of the concerns you'd have as a goalkeeper, if you're being asked to play out from the back but you know the defence aren't good enough to do it, puts you on the back foot a little bit."
