Manchester City striker Danny Sturridge is keen to duck questions over interest from Chelsea.
"I'm just trying to get my head down - I've just got back from injury - and I'm trying to nail down a first-team place at Manchester City," Sturridge told Setanta Sports News.
"I'm not trying to worry about my contract or anything else except football, because all that kind of stuff can put you off your game.
"I don't want other things on my mind when I'm playing football because it doesn't bode well for you on the pitch.
"I just want to focus on my football, get my head down and try and score as many goals as I can before the end of the season."
