Man City striker Santa Cruz knocked back Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce received a knockback from Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz on transfer deadline day.

Fener attempted to bring the Paraguay international to Istanbul this week.

But Santa Cruz told Turkish reporters: "I do not want to leave England. It's not the right time for my family to leave the country."
