Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz has reaffirmed hopes of signing permanently for Real Betis.

Santa Cruz knows he faces a massive pay-cut to make the deal happen.

"Let's go game to game. I'm very happy with the fans and the club and we'll see what happens at the end of the season.

"But I want to stay, I am very happy here and hopefully next season I'll continue scoring for Betis," said the Paraguay international.
