Manchester City striker Roque Santa Cruz is already eyeing a longer stay at Real Betis.
Santa Cruz has joined Betis on-loan.
"It has been easy to adapt into the team," he told AS. "The players here are good, they have been very friendly and they have given me confidence."
Confidence is one thing the 30-year-old would have been desperately short of after making just one substitute appearance in the Premier League last season.
But he said: "I was more drawn to Betis because of the fans and the philosophy of the club and the team plays well, they keep the ball and create opportunities. I made the right decIsion to come here and I hope to be here for a long time."
