Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo was delighted to score in Spain's 2-0 friendly win against Ecuador.
Negredo struck with an impressive effort in the victory in Guayaquil.
"The goal is dedicated to those who have always been there for me. Hopefully I can keep coming back to the national team, I will have to keep fighting.
"I've missed it and I really wanted to come back.
"I've scored and I'm thrilled by that."
He added: "I saw the ball coming and I thought I'd give it a go, I found the best method. It has gone very well.
"I am very happy at City, adjusting is getting easier with all the Spanish there."
