Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic admits turning down a move to Champions League opponents AS Roma.
City need victory in Rome to reach the knockout round.
"Did Roma try to sign me two years ago? It is probably true," said the Montenegro international in a Press conference.
"There were many clubs after me, but I joined City and I'm happy. I even heard Francesco Totti say I could be his heir and that honours me, but I am not at his level. I have a long way to go.
"I want to try and score tomorrow. I've scored against them twice before. We expect a packed stadium and it's going to be a great atmosphere."
