Man City striker Jovetic hoping to see action at Liverpool

Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic is hoping to see some game time at Liverpool on Sunday.

He is feeling sharp and, if he gets his chance, will look to end the season on a high note against a team he already has an impressive record against.

"I have been fit for the last four games, but played in the first one against Fulham, was on the bus for the next two, and then played and scored against Southampton," he revealed to City's website.

"I am fit and feel good every time I play. I am ready, and know I can do very good things for this club.

"When I was with Fiorentina, we played Liverpool in the Champions League and I scored both goals in a 2-0 win. Until now, that is still the most important evening of my life.

"It's always nice when you play these big games, like derbies, but every game is important - you still only get three points and in the end the most important thing is the win.

"A draw would be good but I think we are the team that always goes for the victory and I hope it will be the same at Anfield."
