Manchester City striker John Guidetti is thrilled with his first call-up to the Sweden squad.

Guidetti has been rewarded for his outstanding form with Feyenoord.

"I knew the coach was following me last Saturday and I also spoke to him," Guidetti said. "It was fantastic to hear that I really was being selected for the Swedish squad.

"When I joined Feyenoord at the beginning of this season, it was that one of the goals I had set for myself."
