Manchester City striker John Guidetti is wanted in Italy.
The Sunday Mirror says Guidetti is being lined up to make his "dream" move to Lazio.
Manchester City's exciting young Swedish international striker has made it clear that he is reluctant to return to the Etihad to be a bit-part player for the new Premier League champions next season.
His agent Roberto De Fanti admitted: "I cannot hide. I have spoken with Lazio about Guidetti because he is the best under-21 striker in Europe.
"He played exceptionally well last season in a league where Marco van Basten and Ruud van Nistelrooy found their limelight.
"Lazio could open a door for Guidetti. He wants to continue his growth process in a club where he could play with continuity.
"There would be every reason to talk about this negotiation. Guidetti dreams of Italy."
