Manchester City striker John Guidetti remains on track to get a loan move away in January.
The Manchester Evening News says Guidetti has impressed many at City, and his potential has been enough for the club to stick with him during a prolonged absence with an infected nerve.
The 20-year-old has scored since his return to competitive football and several clubs have shown an interest in him; indeed, City rejected loan offers in summer.
Like Romelu Lukaku, Guidetti's best bet for forcing first-team action is to go elsewhere and impress before returning to the Blues fold an even better player.
