Manchester City striker John Guidetti was stunned by Sweden's U21 Euros defeat to England.
Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard popped up with a late winner for the Three Lions.
"In 85 minutes, everything was perfect. Now it feels like our world is destroyed," Guidetti told SVT.
"You think that England are a better team than us, but we let them have the ball, because it was part of our game plan. When they reached our half, Ludde (Ludwig Augustinsson) would close them down.
"Harry Kane was stopped by our central defenders.
"What are they worth? 650 million more than us? But we took matched them each time. So they get a goal where we are a little sloppy and were punished. But I'm proud of the guys."
