Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko hopes to keep his place after his goal scoring performance in victory at Norwich City.
Dzeko believes "nothing is finished" after feeling he went some way to proving a point against Norwich.
The Bosnian, who has often been utilised as an impact player from the bench, was unfortunate not to have sealed his industrious display with a hat-trick on 67 minutes, when his shot hit the post and then went into the net off the back of Norwich goalkeeper Mark Bunn.
"It is not the first time, but the manager gave me the chance to play and I think I paid him back," Dzeko said. "We will see what the future brings."
