Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo is open to a move to Sporting Lisbon.
Caicedo is eager to play more regularly during the coming campaign after scoring four times in 17 league appearances last term.
He appears open to a move to Sporting, but wants an answer from Hughes about his prospects of regularly involvement with City.
"City have still not said anything to me about my future, but I have not changed my decision," Caicedo told Record. "I want to play more minutes and the challenge of the Champions League would be excellent for me.
"Sporting Lisbon would be a good alternative for if I am not in the plans of Hughes for next season.
"I can say that Sporting have contacted my agents, but now it is necessary to have a clear choice about me."
