Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo is set to choose Malaga over Hull City.
The Mirror says the Ecuadorian youngster moved to Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon last summer on a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer.
Caicedo was left in no doubt back then that the arrivals of Carlos Tevez, Roque Santa Cruz and Emmanuel Adebayor meant his opportunities were limited.
But Sporting have rejected the chance to make Caicedo's loan move permanent meaning his future is once again uncertain.
Hull have already made their interest known to his representatives but Caicedo would prefer a move to Spain.
