Manchester City boss Mario Balotelli is ready to return in the FA Cup against Notts County.
City hope Super Mario's recent trip to the United States for rehab has sorted out the knee problems which have plagued him since his £22million switch from Inter Milan in August.
City coach David Platt said: "Mario's done ever so well and that is why he was on the bench.
"By the time the weekend comes he will have another week of training under his belt. He'll be available for selection."
Boss Roberto Mancini is keen to have Balotelli back after criticising the display of £27m new-boy Edin Dzeko.
