Man City striker Adebayor forced to wait for Tottenham rubberstamp

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is still waiting to close a deal with Tottenham.

The Sun says Adebayor will return to training with Manchester City today still unsure about his future.

The striker, 28, wants to sign for Spurs where he scored 18 goals on loan last season.

But City, who paid Arsenal £25million for him in 2009, are demanding £6m.

Talks have stalled even though Adebayor has offered to take a big cut to his £175,000-a-week wages.
