Manchester City are continuing to negotiate with three clubs regarding a trio of potential summer signings.
The Guardian is of the belief that Pep Guardiola is still determined to land Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Marlos Moreno before the transfer window closes.
City value 20-year-old German winger Sane at around £37million but Schalke want £5m more before they will ponder a sale.
Brazilian young gun Jesus is also high on the agenda of the Etihad Stadium outfit and were hoping to land him from Palmeiras for near £17m, even though his current club wants £26m.
Crosstown rivals Manchester United are also keen on Jesus and have reportedly lodged an improvement on the £26.8m City offered this week.
Also in Guardiola's sights is Colombian winger Moreno who Atletico Nacional rate at £8m which City are believed to be prepared to pay.
If they do happen to land this trio, City's spending under new boss Guardiola will reach £100m having already secured Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Oleksandr Zinchenko for combined £36.5m.
