Manchester City will begin talks with Tottenham over the transfer of Kyle Walker as early as this week, according to Sky Sports.
The mooted deal has eventuated from Walker's dissatisfaction with being rotated with Keiran Trippier at Spurs, and Pep Guardiola's need for a full back after releasing three players at that position.
Guardiola is confident of landing the England international for £40m.
However, Daniel Levy and Spurs are believed to value the 27-year old at closer to £50m.
