Pep Guardiola oversaw his very first match with Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Spanish tactician fielded a youthful City side against his former club Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, which resulted in a 1-0 defeat.
However, Guardiola gave chances to the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Angelino, Pablo Maffeo, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Brandon Barker and Kelechi Iheanacho which is sure to hold the teenage pack in good stead.
After the match, Spanish left-back Angelino and English defender Adarabioyo spoke of the honour of being given the chance to play in Guardiola's first outing as City manager.
"Yes, it was a very special moment for me," Angelino told City TV.
"I didn't expect to play a full game but I say thanks to Pep and all the staff and hopefully I'll get some more minutes on this tour."
Adarabioyo, who came on at half-time, added: "It was a great honour for myself to start Pep's first game as coach here.
"I think that all the youngsters that played, as well as everyone else, did very well."
