Man City starlet Sane: Pep, Silva and De Bruyne make me better...

Manchester City youngster Leroy Sane admits it is a pleasure to play alongside two of his Manchester City colleagues under a great manager.

The German winger is enjoying a strong run of form under Pep Guardiola and has credited the Spaniard for helping him adjust to English football.

"He has made me a more complete player," he said.

"Sometimes I have to play in the middle, against some teams, although mostly I play wide.

"He has made me look more at the details, to keep the ball better, to be more aggressive in my action when I get the ball."

Sane, 21, scored his ninth City goal in Saturday's 3-0 win at Southampton and paid tribute to his attacking midfield mates David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

He added: "I am happy to play with players like David and Kevin De because they know how I play and what my movements are – they know exactly how to play the ball.

"It was a very nice goal from the whole team at Southampton as we won the ball in midfield and made a very quick attack."
