Manchester City wonderkid Kelechi Iheanacho has revealed that he is being handed important advice by senior strikers Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony.

Kelechi has burst onto the scene for City this season and many at the club are expecting the 19-year-old to become a star in the coming years.

Talented as he is, the Nigerian is still honing his craft at the top level and the striker reveals that he is being handed valuable advice by senior teammates Aguero and Bony in particular.

After scoring in Tuesday night's 4-1 Capital One Cup quarter-final win over Hull City, Kelechi said: "They talk to me every day in training, giving me advice and encouraging me to keep going and doing well. They tell me I will be a great player one day, so I will keep listening and working hard.

"The manager also gives me great advice, telling me to play simple and score goals. It's always a pleasure to score a goal, and it was a good goal, a good reaction to run to the front post.

"I anticipate every time someone is crossing the ball – I knew where Raheem would put it so I made the run."
