Yaya Toure is believed to be pondering retiring from international football with the Ivory Coast.
The Manchester City midfielder, 31, captained the Elephants to victory at the 2015 African Cup of Nations earlier this year and is now prepared to step away from the national team and focus on club football.
"My future? You have to wait. Now, my target is done," he told the BBC.
"We have to wait for a couple of days and see what we can do.
"My brother (Kolo) has retired, and (goalkeeper) Copa (Barry) as well. The time of the youngsters will come soon. We need to let them.
"It's always beautiful when everything is going in the right way. I'm delighted with the trophy of 2015. Now we just want to focus, I will wait a couple of days before we decide my future."
