Manchester City's Joe Hart has praised Sevilla after his side's narrow victory over the Andalusians in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

The Europa League champions took the lead at the Etihad Stadium and were very unlucky to be beaten by a late Kevin De Bruyne strike.

After the match, England number one Hart was quick to praise Unai Emery's side who showed their qualities throughout.

Hart said: "Sevilla deserve to be in this competition, they've won a lot of trophies over the past few years and they made it difficult for us."

Hart also praised match winner de Bruyne after his injury time winner sealed the victory for City.

"I think they would have been happier with a draw than we would but we know we had good chances and Kevin with a fantastic finish won us the game," he added.
