Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne has spoken out about differences in his side this season as compared to last season.

The Citizens ended up finishing in third position in the League last season after failing to capitalize following an impressive start to the season but they are so far looking formidable this season and currently lead the standings with 22 points from their eight games played so far.

De Bruyne feels that his side are more formidable this time around and said: "We play dominant football and like to put a lot of pressure on them and if you can do that, it works well. It's hard to go full pace all the time but at the moment everyone is in great shape."

When highlighting the differences this season as compared to last term, he added: "Just that we're winning. I think last year we played good football but, especially in the big games, we didn't win them.

"At the moment, we're playing maybe a little bit better, but we're just building on what we did last year and for the moment everything is going well. But we have to keep going."
